The\r\nJustice, Law and Order Sector on October 30, 2014 awarded the prestigious and\r\ninaugural JLOS Recognition Award (JRA) to various individuals for their\r\noutstanding service. These included former Minister of Internal affairs, Hon.\r\nHilary Onek, Hon. Justice Richard Buteera JCA, Hon. Justice, Henry Peter\r\nAdonyo, Hon. Justice Asaph Ruhinda Ntengye, His Worship Gadenya Paul Wolimbwa, Mrs.\r\nChristine Guwatudde Kintu, Mr. Ernest Bafaki, Mr. George Kasajja and Mrs.\r\nJosephine Onya Wasike. The award ceremony was presided over by the Ag. Chief\r\nJustice, Hon. Justice Stephen Kavuma. Also present were various heads of JLOS\r\ninstitutions and members of JLOS structures that included the Minister of\r\nJustice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Kahinda Otafire, Minister of state for\r\nLabor, Hon. Rukutana, Minister of state for Internal Affairs, Hon. James Baba,\r\nthe Principal Judge, Hon. Justice Dr. Yorokamu Bamwine and the Chairperson of\r\nthe JLOS Development Partners Group, H.E Urban Anderson, ambassador of Sweden\r\nto Uganda.

The JLOS Recognition Award is given to individuals for\r\ntheir outstanding public service in the delivery of justice and the\r\nadvancement/promotion of the rule of law in Uganda.
